Compliance & Safety
SEPL follows recognised safety practices for commercial explosives. This page provides a general reference only.
SEPL is first and foremost a mining consultancy, and compliance sits at the heart of both our advisory work and our own controlled blasting. The reference below outlines the framework we build to and operate within.
Commercial explosives require careful handling, verified storage, and qualified personnel at every stage, from transport to use on site.
SEPL stores commercial explosives and blasting accessories in its own magazine and uses them to carry out controlled blasting at verified customer locations. These items are used only for our own blasting work and are never sold, resold, or supplied to third parties.
Consulting available across India, with no geographic restriction
Controlled blasting carried out only at verified customer sites
Explosives held and used solely for our own operations
Every operation logged with detailed stock records
We hold and use commercial explosives for our own controlled blasting.
All transport follows established safety rules, including road van permits, driver certification, and route planning.
Explosives are stored only in our own magazine, built to recognised construction and safety standards.
SEPL verifies customer site permits and documentation, and ensures qualified shotfirers are present before any blasting.
For SEPL to carry out controlled blasting at a customer site, the site must hold valid and current:
Valid mining lease and permits for blasting operations at the site
Required site and mine clearances in place
Coordination with qualified blasting personnel and shotfirers as required
Vehicle access permits for explosives transport where applicable
Valid Consent to Operate (CTO) and business documentation
